Rocket Hockey Academy Is a grassroots non-profit, non-governmental organization using the game of hockey as a medium of development focusing on identifying, nurturing, and developing positive attitude-driven sports opportunities in underprivileged communities. We bring about sustainable community development, individual empowerment, and social transformation, to build intercultural and international understanding. Rocket Hockey Academy was founded in September 2011 with core athletes from Government College Ibadan Apata in Oyo State. Nigeria.
OUR VISION
The future of our country's hockey talent is dependent on today's Hockey Academy. The need for players to truly develop not only their technical skills but also their IQ. professionalism and attitudes are ever-growing. There is a huge opportunity for Academies to "get it right" by implementing a clear and concise vision and applying the necessary methods for getting players to succeed
ROCKET HOCKEY ACADEMY has the recipe and ingredients to achieve it. The ultimate vision of Rocket Hockey Academy is to take athletes from any ability level and empower them to become collegiate or professional hockey players.
