Meet our February's Personality of the Month at the Rocket Hockey Academy, Ileladewa Pearl Ariyo, affectionately known as "White Horse," a beacon of inspiration in the realm of hockey.

Hailing from Ilesa, Nigeria, Ileladewa’s passion for hockey ignited during her formative years at Ilesa Grammar School.
Her journey reached new heights at Obafemi Awolowo University, where she honed her skills and etched her name in hockey history.
She proceeded to Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile – Ife after her SSCE results where she was fully trained and exploited. She represented OAU in the NUGA Games, and WAUG in the Republic of Benin and Ghana respectively. During her time, our prodigious talent, Ileladewa dominated the field, earning accolades such as the Highest Goal Scorer in prestigious tournaments. and got the award of the Highest Goal Scorer, She represented Osun State, Oyo State, and Lagos State in the Sports Festival Games and also played in Bako championship, and her first competition was in PortHarcourt in 1991

As a center forward, her agility, speed, and fearlessness struck fear into opponents’ hearts, cementing her as a force to be reckoned with.
Her precision in every play, from dribbling to goal-scoring, showcased her unwavering dedication to the sport.
Representing various states, clubs, and universities, Ileladewa left an indelible mark on the hockey landscape.
Beyond the field, hockey became her muse, guiding her to a career as a Sports Psychologist and Director of Sports at Lead City University.
Her legacy extends beyond her achievements, as she spearheaded the National 5-Aside Hockey Indoor Games, epitomizing her commitment to the sport’s growth.
Despite challenges, Ileladewa’s passion for hockey remains unyielding, a testament to her unwavering spirit.
